Bicycle Riding

Grandma and Grandpa's house has much more room to roam and play than ours. That's why his bicycle lives over there. A couple weeks ago (i am really behind) Uncle Tom took him for a few spins around the driveway.

Lots of Mileage

The fact that I am able to get three separate blog posts with three completely different events out of an hour of shooting with Ryan really sums up his personality. He is all over the place. Always looking for the next big thing, constantly in motion, never wanting a break. He has now managed to open the refrigerator, the pantry, the basement door, and today, the front door. It should be no shock then, that he is trying to figure out the gate to the back yard....

Follow that Bird

When there's a plane overhead, Ryan will follow it until its out of sight. In this sequence you will see how he excitedly points out the plane's existence and then traces it's path across the sky....

Ghost Ride the Whip

These pictures take me back to my brief stint in the East Bay and the music of E-40. If you don't get, it - google it :)

Ryan used to love this car until he got one that moves by itself at the press of a button. Not to mention the fact that he is just a wee bit too big for it now...

Summer Garden

Last year Lisa started a garden in the back yard. It was modestly successful, but this year we are striving for a bigger harvest :) All of this is possible, of course, since Ryan is much more involved. You may remember last year's planting where Ryan just crawled around in the dirt. My guess is that he'll be more into the harvesting (read: pulling out of the ground) of the veggies this year.

Here We go Again

Well, after racking my brain for a witty, fun way to get it out there, Lisa beat me to the punch and threw it up on facebook - Ryan is going to be a big brother!!! The little one is due on December 17 - already taking after daddy :)

Here is the new addition from the last ultrasound, and a reminder of Ryan at roughly the same time...

The Big 22

i can't believe how quickly Ryan's second birthday is sneaking up on us. As of today, we are two months away. We celebrated the 22nd month with some strawberry picking. By the way, Lisa may be close to giving in on the haircut. It is getting a wee bit long...

Riding the "choo-choo"

Trains have become a big favorite lately. we can here the whistle of the commuter train from the house (nothing like Emeryville, though). and Ryan will gladly tell you when he sees or hears a "choo choo." That being the case, we took off for the manassas rail festival on saturday. not only did he get to ogle lots of really cool model trains, but he also went on his first real train ride - Manassas to Clifton and back. He had a blast.

It's June!!

I decided to grab the camera for a bit after work on monday. No real plans or ideas, just hanging out in the yard....

New skills include pointing at everything in sight and walking down stairs unassisted...

The big green ball has come back into favor with the warm weather...

The two loves of my life...
